Create individual models, components, and topography in a series of professional projects! SketchUp is a great tool for 3D modeling and rendering. In this Bundle, students will be introduced to the SketchUp interface and tools to create elements and complete projects using SketchUp

SketchUp is more intuitive, flexible, and easier to learn and use than other 3D CAD programs. SketchUp interfaces with products such as Extension Warehouse, 3D Warehouse, Layout, Style Builder and several other plug-ins.

Our SketchUp class is designed to support interior designers, construction industry and entertainment related professions.

Welcome to SketchUp Fundamentals!

DAC 211 - Introduction to SketchUp

Gain valuable experience with SketchUp commands and menu systems. Learn 3d drawing commands, with 2d sketching, 3d extrusion, paint bucket materials, groups, and components.

DAC 212 - Intermediate SketchUp

Students will expand upon what was learned in Introduction to SketchUp and explore advanced techniques for optimizing models, improve efficiency and work with complicated forms. Students will work with landscape tools in the Sandbox toolbar as well as working on a small architectural project.
